About
Mr. Hoshang Dhanjisha Nanavati is a Senior Partner of the firm and has been practicing as an Advocate and Solicitor in the firm since 1965.
He is a member of the Bombay Incorporated Law Society and the Bombay Bar Association.
He initially specialised in Personal Tax Laws and Tax Planning, with particular reference to Estate Duty (on which he co-authored a book) which tax was since abolished in India. Later, he moved his attention to aviation-related matters, representing the Firm for many years as solicitor to a major international airline. He specialises in Aviation and Insurance Law, and has represented various domestic as well as international airlines, their insurers and reinsurers, in the matter of all kinds of aviation claims (passenger personal injury, cargo and baggage claims, as also high-value claims against airlines arising out of fatal and other major aviation losses) and has represented them in various Courts throughout the Country, including all tiers of the Consumer Courts.
