About

Mr. Homiar Nariman Vakil has been associated with the firm since 1984.

He is on the board of Directors of a listed company and is also a trustee of several charitable Trusts.

He is a member of the Bombay Incorporated Law Society and the Bombay Bar Association. Homiar is also admitted as a member of Law Review Reforms and Rationalisation Committee of Indian Merchants Chamber.

He regularly assists large corporate clients across a broad range of contentious situations in both representative as well as advisory capacity. His diverse practice includes advising leading corporate houses and handling complex cases. In his experience of over 35 years he has methodically and proficiently conducted civil and criminal cases before various courts/ tribunals / arbitrations in India. He regularly advises clients and companies on matters ranging over a number of industry energy, power, infrastructure, real estate, property taxes, construction and revenue related matters. He has represented clients in several Constitutional matters, commercial arbitrations, economic offences and real-estate. He also specializes in variety of issues ranging from debt recovery, summary suits and Succession related disputes.

His experience is across a broad range of industry including energy, power, construction, real estate, and infrastructure. He has experience in drafting conveyancing documents, shareholder agreements, and development of projects, documentation of hospitals in and out of India. In addition to his legal practice he believes in contributing to the greater good of the society. He regularly contributes his legal expertise in matters of providing economical housing and education to segments of the society.
